Bye Election to 60 Pungro Kiphire A/C was conducted smoothly, there were no untoward reported incidents from the polling station except in one polling station No 11. Total percentage of votes cast was 89.80%.

In the early noon, there was confusion and commotion in the polling station No.11 at Singrep village among the youth voters, so the polling was disrupted and could not be smoothly conducted. The polling officials had to stop the polling when the total number of votes cast at that time was not more than 20. Repolling is likely to be held for the said polling station for which the decision is still awaited from the higher authorities.
