The District Election Office, Zunheboto, organised a SVEEP Instrumental Guitar Contest at the DC Conference Hall, Zunheboto, on 18th September as part of voter-awareness initiatives under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
The programme began with an invocation by Senior Head Assistant, M. Vitoho Sema and a welcome address delivered by Assistant Election Officer (AEO), Bisalee Thonger.
A Workshop on Our Land Our Produce improving Lives and Livelihood was conducted under green Peren at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren on 18th September 2026, organised by District Administration Peren in collaboration with SELCO foundation.
In pursuance of the notice issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire vide No. DC/KPE/DEV-66/2007-08//877 dated 17th September 2026, and in connection with the nationwide awareness campaign under POSHAN Maah 2026, the installation of "Sugar Boards" in schools has commenced across Kiphire District.

As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll (Phase -111), rationalization of Polling Stations was carried out in all 60 Assembly Constituencies in the State. Based on the House-to-House enumeration by the BLOs, as mandated by the Election Commission of India, all Polling Stations having more than 1200 electors were identified for rationalization.
