Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland and Chairman of the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland, Abu Metha graced the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) Nagaland Felicitation programme, Mon on 31st August 2026 at Walo Guest House Mon Town.

The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, has invited applications from artistes, performers and cultural groups from the eight member States of NEZCC for fresh empanelment and renewal of empanelment.

The empanelment and renewal process will be completed by September 2026. The age of performing artists should generally be between 18 and 35 years, while musicians and accompanists may be considered up to 55 years, depending on the nature of the art form.

The Labour Department, Nagaland, proposes to institute and distribute State Safety Awards 2027 to recognise and encourage excellence in Occupational Safety, Health and Well-being and to promote a strong safety culture across workplaces in the State.

The Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (ZDLSA), in collaboration with Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital, Zunheboto, will organise a Medical Camp for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) on September 11, 2026, at Town Hall, Zunheboto, from 10:00 a.m. onwards.

The camp aims to facilitate the screening and identification of persons with disabilities, medical assessment by qualified medical professionals, and issuance of disability certificates to eligible persons.
