In a partial modification to this office travel advisory of even number date 5th September 2024 and in view of the on-going restorative /maintenance works, all traffic through the Chumoukedima town (Old Check Gate) to New Chumoukedima via Old Chumoukedima village road shall remain closed from 6:00 PM 6:00 AM w.e.f 13th September 2024 till further notice. During the durations of the closure period all travellers (light motor vehicles only) from Chumoukedima to Kolima and vice versa may take one of the following alternatives.

1. 7th Mile-Pimla - Mhainamtsi- Medziphema-Kohima, and 2.  Nuiland-Kohima via Ghotovi - Zhadima

All commuters are advised to exercise caution and plan their journey accordingly.
