The Longleng District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on 13th February 2025, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairman DPDB Longleng, W. Manpai Phom, NCS at DPDB hall, Longleng.

After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the house discussed and deliberated on the following agendas and forwarded to the concerned department for approval by the Government. Change of village name of Alayong to Alayung was recommended and forwarded for approval. Shortage of Teachers in Government Middle Schools and Government High Schools under Longleng District was discussed at length. Senior SDEO, Longleng submitted the list of Teachers shortage in different Stream/Subject to the house. After which the house agreed to forward the matter to the higher-ups.

The DC informed the house to prepare the list of the departments for PowerPoint presentation during the DPDB meeting from March till November 2025. The board constituted a committee headed by SDO (c) as Convener, and the DSO (Sports), Additional SP, EE PWD (R&B) and DLRSO as the members for the Inter Department Tournament. DC also urged those departments who are yet to shift their office at the new sites, to shift with immediate effect after consultation with their department higher-ups. In this regard the board also decided to write to the concern department for necessary action.

The District Jail Longleng presented their Departmental activities in the meeting through PowerPoint. The chairman entrusted the Department of Food and Civil Supply to present their activities in the next meeting.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the DC.
