Located at the heart of Pughoboto Town, The Pughoboto Town Baptist Church(PTBC) dedicated its New Church Building on Saturday, December 21, 2024 with the townsfolk celebrating the realisation of their long cherished dream with much grandeur. The church was dedicated by Rev. Dr. Khehovi Shohe, Director Sumi Baptist Convention who also served as the Speaker at the inaugural service. During the program Greetings were delivered by Kihoto H Wotsa, Convenor Planning Board and Dr. Hokishe G Sema, President Executive Council SABAK. Vote of thanks was presented by Er. Vikuto P Sheqi, Construction Convenor while Felicitation of dignitaries was conducted by Bokavi Achumi, Co-convener Planning Board. 

The inaugural program was chaired by Mrs Aghali K Sheqi, Associate Pastor Women PTBC. Highlights of the event included Special number presented by Pughoboto Town Baptist Church Choir. Rev. Dr. Kivito Achumi, Director Drugs & Aids Healing Centre, Kuhazuqa, served as the Speaker and the Praise Band, PTBC presented a special song at the Revival Service held later in the evening.

As the huge congregation celebrated the successful dedication of the new church on Saturday morning, it is a testament to the spiritual growth and upliftment of the Christian community as well as societal development of the Pughoboto community as a whole.     (
