A special camp was conducted on October 9, 2026, under the 13-Pughoboto Assembly Constituency (AC) as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll, under the supervision of the Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and District Election Officer (DEO), Pughoboto.
During the camp, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) organised special camps at their respective polling stations to assist electors who had been served notices in submitting the required documents for verification under the SIR process.
The BLOs also facilitated the collection of Form 6, Form 7 and Form 8 from eligible electors for the inclusion of new names, deletion of names, and correction or updating of entries in the Electoral Roll, as applicable.
The initiative aimed to assist electors in completing the necessary formalities, ensure proper verification of electoral details, and facilitate the smooth and effective implementation of the Special Intensive Revision process in the constituency.
