Tseminyu DPDB meeting was held on 20th May 2025 at the DC’s conference hall, Tseminyu chaired by MLA & Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Ar. Jwenga Seb. The chairman welcomed all the board members and special invitees present in the meeting. 

After the review of last meeting minutes, the department of Disaster Management shared in details on various activities on monsoon preparedness and assign the department of DEF to prepare a communication strategy to coordinate emergency responses; SDRF to maintain and keep all equipment ready and be on high alert for any emergency search & rescue works since Tseminyu has not such department and required the assistance of Kohima Division; Food & civil supplies department to keep stock of food grains at least for one month; PWD (R & B) pre monsoon repair & renovation of roads, clearance of debris, landslide and to identify alternative routes, machinery readiness; medical department stocks essential medicines in hospital and sub-centres mobile unit for remote areas; PHED to ensure clean drinking water; power department contingency plan for power outages trimming or clearance of trees near power lines; DPRO for public awareness and timely dissemination of information to coordinate with NSDMA; Town council to organise social work within the town areas, maintain drainage to avoid water clogging, collaborate with the line department in carrying out social work and DDMA to send out preparedness circular/orders to sensitised the community. Upgratation of GHS Tesophenyu was also discussed during the meeting.

The department of Industry & Commerce, Tseminyu presented the details activities of the department. The department of PWD (R &B) was assigned to present PPT in the next meeting.
