The office of the Deputy Commissioner has issued an order in view of the upcoming celebration of the 76th Republic Day of India, the following NGOs and Clubs shall visit the selected homes and institutions on 26th January 2025 within Kohima District.
The State Mental Health Institute will be visited by the Gorkha Public Panchayat, while the Tabitha Enabling Academy will host the Puliebaze Club. The Old Age Home will be visited by the Indian Red Cross, and the Kohima Orphanage & Destitute Home will be visited by the Masjid Committee.
The District Jail will be visited by the Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union, and the Bright Morning Star Orphanage in Periezie will be visited by the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The Cherry Blossom will be visited by the Angami Women Organisation, while the Jo Foundation will be visited by the Rotary Club. Finally, the Cradle Ridge will be visited by the Classic Club.
The designated NGOs and Clubs are required to submit an Action Taken Report detailing their visitation activities. Commendation certificates will be awarded based on these reports.
