In view of the upcoming 80th Independence Day Celebration 2026, a mass social work was conducted in all the Wards, Offices, Schools/Institutions and Business Establishments on 13th August 2026, starting from 07 am at Aboi. The Social work was led by the administration headed by ADC Aboi, Thangpong, NCS. The mass social work includes cleaning of the surrounding areas by the citizens, and the respective establishments by the government employees, educational institutions and business establishment. The social work was actively participated by the citizens of Aboi town.
