Additional Deputy Commissioner Peren & Administrator Peren Town Council, Keyirangding Hegui has invited tender from all interested person/parties to sell different items in the town such as chicken, beef & buff, pork, fish, and duck for the year i.e, 2022-2023 w.e.f. 13th June 2022 with the following terms & conditions:

1.              All permit holders shall sell their commodities at the rate fixed by the Peren Town Council.
(a) Beef and Pork shall be sold at the allotted site i.e, slaughterhouse at Ndining Ward Peren.
(b) Fish, Chicken & Duck shall be sold within the respective wards as per the location selected/identified by the issuing authority. Violation of which shall lead to cancellation of the permit and the tender money shall be forfeited.

2.              BEEF, BUFF & PORK: Only two parties each shall be allotted the permits and each party shall deposit an amount of Rs. 35,000/- or more whose allotment shall be based on high-end bidding. If the parties are less than two in both the items, the PTC will decide on the matter. For public convenience, meat should be made available at least three times a week.

3.              DUCK: Four parties shall be allotted the permits and each party shall deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- or more whose allotment shall be based on high-end bidding. If the parties are less than four, the council will decide on the matter without further re-opening of the tender.

4.              CHICKEN & FISH: Each party shall deposit an amount of Rs. 15,000/- or more whose allotment shall be based on high-end bidding. If the parties are less than four, the council will decide on the matter without further re-opening of the tender for the same, and only four parties each shall be allotted the permits.

5.              All tender applications are to be addressed to the ADC & Administrator, Peren Town Council with Rs. 500/- as application fees which shall not be refunded.

6.              Preference shall be given to the local applicants.

7.              In case the number of Tender applications received exceeds the number of permits to be issued for each category, permit holders shall be drawn through a lottery system.

8.              Applications for the permits will be accepted till 2:00 PM of 10th June 2022 and the permit shall be issued on 13th June 2022.

9.              Inspection and surprise visits would be carried out from time to time for rates of meat products, weighing scales, etc. by PTC, and any unfair practices when detected shall result in cancellation of the permit.

10.          The animal waste shall be properly dumped at the site provided near the slaughterhouse in sack cloths for timely disposal.

11.          The meats shall be sold at the designated place in the green line area without compromising on the cleanliness of the adjoining area.

12.          The above-mentioned items shall be sold only by the permit holders at the designated areas with a proper weighing scale. Defaulters shall be liable to pay fines to the concerned authorities.

13.          Inspection of animals by the concerned department (Veterinary Dept.) before taking them to the slaughterhouse for public consumption is a must for safety measures.

14.          The permit holders for the above items can have only one designated site for selling their items. Defaulter's permit shall be canceled and application for retendering of any item by the defaulter shall not be entertained in the near future.
