Additional Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer to the 58 Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency Bye Election, B. Henok Buchem, in an order dated 2nd October 2021 has directed all BLOs under 58 Shamator-Chessore AC to visit houses of the concerned electors i.e Senior Citizen (above 80 years of age), person with disability (flagged in the E-roll) and Covid-19 suspect or affected persons in their respective Polling Station and deliver Form 12D to the concerned electors and obtain acknowledgement from them and submit the acknowledge Forms and Form 12 D to the office of the undersigned on or before 6th October 2021.

            In another order dated 3rd October 2021, Buchem, has directed all the firearm owners of Shamator Sub Division to deposit their respective firearms at the nearest Police Station on or before 8/10/2021. Anyone failing to comply with this order shall entail the following actions.

1)      License of the Firearms will be liable for cancellation.

2)      Arms covered by that license maybe forfeited by the Government.

3)      License holder will be liable for prosecution under appropriate section of Law.

The order shall come into force with immediate effect.

 

ADC & Returning Officer to the 58 Shamator-Chessore AC, B. Henok Buchem, in a circular issued the following the work distribution in view of the forthcoming Bye-Election:

1.      Security arrangement inside ADC office       : OC, Police Station Shamator

2.      Accommodation                                             : SDO PWD (NH) Shamator

3.      Water and Sanitation                                      : SDO (PHED) Shamator

4.      Maintenance of Road                                     : SDO PWD(R&B) Shamator

5.      Electricity                                                        : JE (Power) Shamator

6.      Videography/ PA system                                : IA, IPR Shamator

7.      Transportation                                                 : SDO (Soil) Shamator

The above officer-in-charge shall be fully responsible for their respective assignment and the assigned works shall be look into till the electioneering process is completed.

            The ADC in another order directed all the Departmental/Police officers, Police personnel and staff under Shamator Sub-Division to be in station on or 5th October 2021. The concerned Officer in-charge of the department at Shamator shall submit attendance of their respective departments on daily basis to the Additional Deputy Commissioner. Failing which, strict disciplinary action shall be initiated as per the provisions of the Election Laws.
