Introductory Program in honour of Medo Yhokha, Advisor to Chief Minister for Technical Education and Election Departments was held on 8th Dec.2020 in the Directorate of Technical Education.
Medo Yhokha, Advisor, asserted that the subject matter of Technical Education deals with the career of the youths and hence the future of our State – as such the career of our future generation should not be compromised under any circumstance. Further, he also stressed on the importance of skills development of the youth referring to the Govt. of India policy “SKILL INDIA.”
Imjung M Panger, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary for Higher & Technical Education, in his short speech, highlighted the position of Staff and Officers in the Secretariat as well as in the Directorate of Technical Education. He also stressed on streamlining the Department in order to place things in the right perspective so that it will reduce the problems faced by the Department.
Er. Khrieketoulie Rupreo, Deputy Director, gave a ‘Power Point Presentation’ on the main activities of the Department and also highlighted PRIORITY WORKS which needs immediate attention to address.
The short program started with an invocation by Tiakaba Amer, Project Director, Directorate of Technical Education. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from the Chair, Nungsangmenla Imchen, Ex-officio Director, Technical Education, Nagaland.
