Mmhonlumo Kikon Advisor, IT&C, SC&Tech, NRE inaugurated and commissioned the one MW Electricity Generating Project at Tsutsung HEP at Longsa village Mokokchung on 3rd May 2022.

            Addressing the programme, the Advisor thanked each and every person and agency involved in the completion and success of the project especially the Department of New & Renewable Energy, and Village Council Longsa for their unceasing support and cooperation and landowners for their unselfish contribution to the development of the project.

            He also informed the gathering that once the MoU (for the management of the project) is signed with the government the maintenance and the management of the project will be handed over to the Longsa Village. For this the Advisor expects Longsa village to be prepared for the successful management of the project. He wished for success and hoped that the project would bring development to the Longsa village.

            Short speeches were also delivered by Alemtemshi Jamir CEO, IDAN, Govt. of Nagaland, Talichuba, Chairman, Longsa Village Council, Lipokonen Jamir, President, Longsa Gazetted Officers Union, and Metsubo Jamir Minister of Rural Development. A technical report on the project was given by Er. Kimaba, earlier, the programme was conducted by Er. James Khala. Dedicatory prayer on the Commission of the Project was pronounced by N. Imsu Pastor, Moalenden Baptist Church.
