Advisor Power Department, Tovihoto Ayemi flagged of NST Bus service which will be plying from Dimapur to Ruzazho village and vice versa, today 13th November 2020 from NST Bus Station Dimapur.

On the occasion, Tovihoto reiterated that the government led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, are working tirelessly to fulfil the commitments made by PDA Government. Today's flagging off of NST service is one such glaring example where the Government is striving for reaching out even in the remote areas of Nagaland, he added.

The Government of the day is working in terms of transportation, availability of schemes, direct benefit to the individuals, economy of the state, power supply, road connectivity process, education and overall development and peace for the state, he maintained. He further mentioned that visible development could be noticed in the transport sector under the leadership of Transport Minister, Paiwang Konyak. 

General Manager, NST, Er.Atovi Kiba observed that the bus service from Dimapur to Ruzazho and vice versa as a noble cause, stating that with the introduction of the new NST bus service, transportation problems faced by Ruzazho village and surrounding areas would be mitigated. Atovi appealed to the public to treat the property of the department as their own and to extend cooperation to the department especially to the operating staff and crew of the bus, so that the department continues to serve the public without loss in revenue.

Short speech was also delivered by Dr.Er.Vekho Swuro where he conveyed appreciation on behalf of 19 villages to the Transport Minister Paiwang, noting that history has been created for Ruzazho village. He informed that the bus would ply on alternate days to facilitate the Ruzazho and surrounding villagers.

Jt. GM, NST, A.Limasunep Jamir chaired the program while Pastor, Ruzazho Baptist Church, Muralhu Shijoh pronounced the invocation.
