Advisor, Prisons, Printing & Stationery Government of Nagaland, H.Haiying inaugurated ART Centre, Noklak on 16th March 2021 at Community Health Centre, Noklak.
Speaking on the inaugural ceremony H.Haiying congratulated the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare GOI, for constructing full fledged ART Centre under Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) at Community Health Centre at Noklak. He appreciated NACO for availing the facilities in the district and urged upon the community to give a positive response in availing the benefits. He also called upon the people to be aware of the HIV/AIDS infection. Our Community Health Centre has been upgraded to District Hospital and therefore, he requested all the district people to have a sense of owner ship and give a positive response to the government.
Deputy Commissioner, Noklak, Reny Wilfred, IAS stated that Noklak is getting district hospital status and expressed his grateful to all who had initiated and worked for the successful opening of ART Center in the district. He opined that, mobile Unit lab should be started in order to reach out to far flung villages. Congratulating for the successful conduct of free medical health camp during the International Women's Day, he gave a sincere appreciation to all the Doctors, staff of CHC Noklak and KMH, DC added.
DC also expressed his thankfulness to the representative of 56th AC for setting up of solar LED lighting in Noklak.
Deputy Director, (CST) NSACS, Dr.Nitovi Shikhi stated that, NACO had bought the facilities in the district and requested the community to avail the facilities. He also appreciated the church body for coming forward to fight the disease. Unless the family and community level change it won't be able to reach the goal of elimination of HIV/AIDs by 2030, he said. He requested the community to co-operate with the authorities and not to discriminate the HIV/AIDs patients.
Earlier, dedicatory prayer of Anti Retroviral Treatment Centre was delivered by Executive Secretary, KBCA Himpao and welcome note was said by SMO, CHC Noklak Dr. Victor.
