Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer on Thursday adjourned the eleventh session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly sine die, after completing all the list of business on 24th March 2022. 

Earlier in the morning hours, the Annual Administrative Reports, 2021-2022 of the following Departments were laid on the House:

        i.            Social Welfare

      ii.            Evaluation

    iii.            Municipal Affairs

    iv.            Technical Education

      v.            School Education

    vi.            Horticulture

  vii.            Science & Technology

viii.            New & Renewable Energy

    ix.            Labour

      x.            Department of Underdeveloped Areas (DUDA)

    xi.            Excise and Prohibition

  xii.            Information Technology & Communication

xiii.            Health & Family Welfare.

xiv.            Nagaland Public Works Department, Works & Housing

  xv.            Environment, Forests & Climate Change.

 

The following Reports/Rules were also laid:

i)        Nagaland Lokayukta Annual Report January 2021 to December 2021

ii)      Nagaland Economic Survey 2021 -2022

iii)    Nagaland School Education Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2017

 

Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Finance, Neiphiu Rio, moved the Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 2022 and the Bill was passed by the House. The Supplementary Demand for Grant for the year 2021-2022 was also passed during the day.

The Chief Minister also moved the Nagaland Appropriation (No. 1) Bill, 2022 (Supplementary 2021-2022) and the Nagaland Appropriation (No. 2) Bill 2022 (Budget 2022-2023). The Bills were introduced and taken into consideration. Both the Bills were passed by the House.

Voting on the Demand for Grants for the Year 2022-2023 was also passed by the House.
