The awardees of the prestigious ‘National Awards to Teachers 2021’ were felicitated by the President of India, Ram NathKovind on 5th September 2021 through a felicitation programme conducted through virtual mode. The programme was attended by Union Minister for Education, Dharmendra Pradhan; Union Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi and Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education Anita Karwal.

A total of 44 teachers from different states across the country have been selected for the award of the prestigious National Award and SwedesunuoZao, Head Teacher, Government Middle School, Jakhama is one among them.  The Award Certificate and the Medal will be presented to SwedesunuoZao by Special Secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland, KevilenoAngami on behalf of the President of India in the coming week.
