A two-day basic fire fighting training and fire safety audit inspection for different stakeholders under Peren District is being organized by the Nagaland Fire and Emergency Services starting from 20th June 2022.

The objective of the training was to spread mass awareness on fire safety, code of practice, Dos and Don'ts, etc.

During the programme held at Jalukie 'B' Village Council Hall, resource person, ASI Peren, F&ES, Kedigumlung Thou spoke on basic fire fighting, fire safety inspection & audit, handling of extinguishers, fire prevention & protection system, and forest fires.

Later, a demonstration of different types of fire extinguishers was also displayed by the Personnel of F&ES Peren.
