The Block Task Force on Covid-19, Bhandari (BTF) held a coordination meeting at the conference hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari on 4th August 2021 to step up effort to carry out intensified Covid-19 testing and vaccination drive in all the inter-state border villages under the Bhandari sub division.

The meeting, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner and chairman, BTF, Tiameren Chang NCS, assessed the present situation and resolved to reach all remaining rural areas and villages with special vaccination and random testing drive.

Medical teams along with civil administration and head of offices as block task force members were detailed for that purpose, to different areas to carry out intensified testing and vaccination which should be completed within a scheduled period of time to ensure public health safety against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Screening of all inbound travellers entering Bhandari and beyond through its check-gate was reiterated to keep in continuation.

In the meeting, the electrical department highlighted and informed that jungle clearance and line repair works which the department carried out for uninterrupted power supply was completed on time.

The house also resolved to conduct a week long cleanliness drive for social hygiene maintenance, monsoon alertness and as part of preparation for the upcoming Independence Day.

Work distribution and assignments were also given for preparation and celebration of the upcoming 75th Independence Day.
