The full text is as follows :

 

“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 1,385. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 1,385 positive cases, the active cases are 811, and there are 5 deaths which are under investigation for establishing whether they are COVID-19 related deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 808 active cases are asymptomatic and 2 active cases are mild and 1 active case is moderate.

Till date, a total of 21,642 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 20,307 samples have been received. Out of the total of 14,489 samples received at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), a total of 13,154 samples have been tested and 904 samples have tested positive. In addition, a total of 14,898 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and 514 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 2,593 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
