The full text is as follows:

“A total of 74 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 14 in Kohima, 28 in Dimapur, 28 in Tuensang and 4 in Mokokchung. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 6,318.

Out of the 6,318 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 5,161. The active cases are 1,085 and there have been 12 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,048 active cases are asymptomatic, 34 active cases are mild and 3 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of 6,318 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,025 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,505 cases of Returnees, 1,442 cases of Traced Contacts and 346 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 51,550 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 50,758 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 28,527 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 28,476 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test1, 875 samples have been tested.
