The event was held at Phusachodu village on 27th July with Chotisuh Sazo, MLA as the special guest.

Sazo, narrating his early schooling days, said there was no light and he passed out his matriculation without light but today there is no household without electricity in the village. He thanked the Government of India under the dynamic leadership of Narendra Modi. He informed that the Power department had sanctioned two transformers 25k.v. and 50 electric posts for the replacement of old ones in the village.

Stephen Saim Khuptong, Dy. General Manager (HR) corporate H.Q. Shillong NEEPCO Ltd, Nodal officer for Phek district delivered the keynote address.

Acknowledgment was delivered by ADC Pfutsero, Jopheth Woch, folk song was presented by Phusachodu Youth Society, and a special number by Kunulu Kotso. A testimonial on electrification was presented by Vecuto Rose, convener village electrical management board, and vote of gratitude was said by Vehupa, village council chairman.
