Central Nodal Officer, Ministry of Jal Shakti for Jal Shakti Abhiyan, Ruchir Mittal, and Technical Officer, CW & PRS, Pune, Dr. Sanjay A Burelle visited Mon to inspect the various projects undertaken in the District under Jal Shakti Abhiyan Scheme.

A District Level Jal Shakti Abhiyan Committee meeting was convened on 2nd June 2022 at the Conference Hall of the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Mon where the Nodal Officer highlighted the various aspects of the scheme in a presentation.

After the meeting, the team visited Lapa, Tizit accompanied by DPO, Land Resources & E.E Water Resources Department.

The team is scheduled to visit Tannang Irrigation Project, Water Bodies and Water Structures on 3rd June 2022 and Irrigation Project at Ngangching & Chaoha Chinglen on 4th June 2022.
