The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, Bhagyashree Banayat, IAS held a meeting with political parties on 6.8.2026 in connection with the Special Intensive Revision of electoral roll in Nagaland.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the BJP, INC and NPF. Various aspects of the SIR including training, printing of Enumeration Forms and process of SIR were explained during the meeting. The CEO Nagaland impressed upon the political parties on the importance of appointing Booth Level Agents and informed them to appoint BLAs, if not yet done and solicited their cooperation for successful conduct of SIR.
