On 26th May 2022, the CID (Crime Branch) Dimapur on receipt of credible information about the movement of drugs smugglers, conducted an operation and apprehended one person from Blue Hill Station, Dimapur, namely L.Songtin Kom @ Elvis (SS. Dy. Secretary, Ministry of Internal Security (MIS) NSCN/GPRN-IM), S/O. L. Lenjathang, Village-Mahoutera of Chandel District, Manipur.

The CID Team recovered about 600 grams of Brown Sugar wrapped in silver colour foil and one motorbike B/R.No.DL7SBZ0238 (Pulsar) from the possession of the accused person.

The apprehended person along with the seized items was handed over to Officer-in-Charge East PS, Dimapur for further investigation.
