The Wokha Circle Students’ Union (WCSU) comprising of all its units and Wokha Town Council (WTC) organised a cleanliness cum beautification/plantation drive at Tsumang Lake under the theme “Let’s Keep Tsumang Lake Clean” on 21st August 2021.

ADC & Administrator, Wokha Town Council, T.Lankonsen Tsanglao and his team also took part during the event and assisted the WCSU team officials during the day. Tsanglaoin a short speech, assured of all possible help in keeping Wokha Town clean and encouraged the students that such kind of initiatives is a stepping stone towards a greater works in days ahead and an encouragement towards the people to have the sense of cleaning the town clean.

The Union planted flowers, ornamentals plants and other varieties of trees saplings. The team also cleared overgrown weeds and garbage. The Union also erected signboard and advised the public to keep the lake clean and make it everyone’s responsibility to keep the Tsumag Lake clean and beautiful.

President WCSU, C.Longshithung Lotha led the unit teams during the drive.
