A coordination meeting to conduct a mock drill was held on 5th April 2022 at the DC office Chumoukedima. DC and Chairman DDMA Chumoukedima, Abhinav Shivam IAS who chaired the meeting highlighted the purpose and importance of the mock drill slated for 8th April 2022.

           Rendemo Shitio Assistant Manager, Response & Communication NSDMA, and Nodal Officer DM Dimapur detailed the role and functions of the Disaster Management System. The organizational structure of the response teams such as operation, logistic, and planning sections was discussed. Community awareness, alternative communication systems, and community participation in the event of disaster were also deliberated. District heads of departments and public leaders attended the meeting.
