COVID -19 AWARENESS ACTIVITIES HIGHLIGHTED IN TUENSANG DPDB MEETING

District Planning and Development Board held on 11thDecember 2020 at DC’s conference hall Tuensang. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS.

The meeting started with the review of the last meeting minutes and its updates. The members discussed on proposal for construction of toilet at Kiusam, EAC Office and agreed to forward for approval by the government.

The proposal for the registration of societies namely Eastern Nagaland Agri allied Farmers Association HQ Tuensang and Welfare Society for Disabilities (WSD) Tuensang was discussed and decided to forward to respective department for verification before further necessary procedures.

The members were also informed by DC Tuensang for the COVID -19 awareness campaign activities. The proposal for installation of 500 KV transformer at EAC Chari was also discussed and decided to send to concern department for verification before sending to government for approval. 

The proposal for financial assistance for painting of badminton stadium was also discussed and decided to go HODs donation drive for the same. The PWD R&B presented the departmental activities to the house
