The Covid 19 vaccination drive for Front Line Workers was conducted in the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Tuensang on 11 February 2021 with the Deputy Commissioner, Kumar Ramnikant IAS, taking the first covid 19 vaccine shot. All together 57 FLWs received the vaccine. No adverse effects have been reported.

An awareness meeting was held on 10thFebruary 2021 wherein the Deputy Commissioner called upon the members to live by examples and to dispel any rumours regarding the Covid 19 vaccine. The District Immunization Officer, Tuensang, highlighted on the safety of the vaccine and also answered queries from the members present.
