In the interest of public safety and convenience, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Rothihu Tetso, has notified that in exercise of the powers conferred U/S 112 (2) of the MV Act, as amended by the motor vehicles act 2019, the maximum speed limit for all types of motor vehicles is fixed at 

·50 km/hr from Zion hospital junction to Chumukedima

·30 km/hr within Dimapur town area.

This speed limit shall be enforced for a period of one month with effect from 1-04-2022 to 30/04/2022, he informed.
