In view of the week-long ICONIC WEEK celebration from 6th June to 12th June 2022 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a Credit Outreach Programme was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung on 8th June 2022 under the initiatives of SBI Lead Bank, Mokokchung.

            On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS thanked the banks in the district for their proactive role in ushering developmental activities. He said, as of now the economy of the state is mainly rural economy and many people, though  having skills cannot put into practice due financial constraints. Therefore, he asked the people to take advantage of the schemes being provided by the banks and to invest it wisely, so as to attain a sustainable livelihood. He also asked the beneficiaries to sensitize the various schemes being provided by the banks in the community, so that others could also avail the same.

            Regional Manager, SBI, Mokokchung Region, Joy Chandra Chakma delivered the key note address, Lead District Manager, Lanuteka Imchen distributed the sanction letter/ cheques to the beneficiaries and gave a PowerPoint Presentation on Social Security Schemes. Senior Branch Manager BOB, Mokokchung, D. F. Athu proposed the vote of thanks while the programme was chaired by Asstt. Manager, SBI, RBO, Mokokchung, Nouluonou Naleo.
