DACYP MEETING HELD

District Advisory Committee on youth development under Nehru Yuva Kendra held a meeting at DC Conference Hall on 20thNovember 2020. The meeting was chaired Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS.

The meeting was attended by District administration headed by DC, Principal Sao Chang Government College & Polytechnic Sedem, Vice Principal ITI, Youth resource Dept, Lead Bank Manager, ECS, Nodal Officer for NSS, NCC  and Bharat Scouts &  Guides, NYC, representatives of Apex Students' Unions.

Kishor Verma District Youth Coordinator NYK Tuensang highlighted the brief account of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, its Objectives, Vision and Profiles. He also highlighted all the details of programme.

DC Tuensang encouraged all the stakeholders to focus on the youths specially the rural youths since India is a young country and such programmes are important for the younger generation of the state. He also encouraged the NYKS Tuensang to be proactive in collaboration with Tribal students' Unions and other such agencies for implementations of the project plans.

Discussions were also held on skills programmes for youth and balancing of gender differences in formation of clubs and participations.
