Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, District Task Force, Kiphire, T. Wati Aier, NCS, in an order dated 13th July 2021, has issued the following regulations of 'Unlock Phase—II' for strict enforcement in Kiphire District from 13th July to 17th July 2021: 1. The practice of NO MASK-NO MOVEMENT and NO MASK- NO ENTRY will be strictly enforced by all concerned. 2. Shop/business establishments dealing with all kind of goods/items/ articles will be permitted to open from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The shopkeepers should display COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate in their shops 3. Regular religious services and gatherings shall continue to be suspended. However, prayer meetings and fellowships may be allowed in religious places with not more than 50 persons with strict adherence to COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. 4. The private offices in the District may also function with up to 50% attendance subject to adherence of COVID-19 behaviour. 5. There shall be a ban on the movement of vehicles except those permitted for reasons/ purposes as per the existing lockdown measures from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. 6. Wedding solemnization, funeral and sports training shall be allowed subject to an attendance of not more than 50 (Fifty) persons and subject to adherence to COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and to all the laid down COVID-19 protocols and SOPs. 7. Light Motor Vehicles including Local Taxis shall be allowed to ply with 50% occupancy. All Local Taxi drivers shall need to possess Covid-19 Vaccination certificate. 8. Inter District movement of people in private vehicles is allowed subject to the person(s) being Asymptomatic and having completed their Covid-19 Vaccination (both doses) and subject to adherence to Covid-19 appropriate behaviour. 9. Bus services and inter-District Taxi service shall continue to remain suspended. The order stated that any persons/ group of persons violating the order shall be deemed to have committed an offense punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
