Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, has informed on 17th June 2021 that the existing lockdown measures shall continue to remain in force in Kohima District till 30thJune 2021, with the following additional directives as given hereunder:

1. Permitted category of shops shall open on MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY from 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
2. It is reiterated that the proprietor of permitted category of business establishment, private establishments will be held responsible for ensuring strict compliance to COVID-19 SOPs within their respective establishments.
3. There shall be a TOTAL BAN on the movement of individuals/vehicles from 2:00 PM to 5:00 AM every day from 19thJune 2021 – 30thJune 2021 across the district except for reasons/purposes and for those who are permitted to move as per the existing lockdown measures.
