DC LONGLENG HELD DEPARTMENTAL COORDINATION MEETING

A departmental coordination meeting of heads of offices and government officers with the new Deputy Commissioner Longleng, Dharam Raj, IAS was held at DPDB Hall, Longleng on 20th June 2022.

Addressing the gathering, the new DC called upon the government officers to fulfill the responsibilities assigned by the Government to the respective departments by performing their duties with utmost sincerity and efficiency. He added that development will take place in the district only when the officers are available in their respective posting places and ready to redress the grievances of the public.

While seeking cooperation and support of the officers to maintain good coordination for the upliftment of the district, he asserted that the district administration and the Police force alone cannot change the scenario of the district without the active participation of the other government agencies. To fulfill the challenges of the district, the new DC appealed to the heads of offices to maintain strict discipline and dedication while discharging any official duties.

Dharam Raj further urged the officers not to leave the station without obtaining leave from him and the concerned authority. The performance of the officers will be viewed seriously and action will be initiated by reflecting in the APAR for those erring officers, he added. The DC also informed that he is ready to have a personal interaction with any officers or share any official problems with him to take the issues with the Government.

While highlighting some of the issues of the district, the DC also interacted with all the heads of offices present and inquired about the ongoing projects, schemes, and other activities of the departments. He urged the officers to maintain proper official records and keep updating with their respective departmental activities for reference at any time.

            CMO Longleng, Dr. Obangjungla informed the officers regarding eye cataract surgery to be held at District Hospital Longleng with doctors from Tuensang, Mokokchung, and Kohima on 21st June 2022. The meeting culminated with a vote of thanks by the DC.
