In compliance of the Government of Nagaland, Home Department, NSDMA, the District Task Force (DTF), Longleng issued the following restrictions for strict implementation throughout the district of Longleng with immediate effect until 15th Feb. 2022.

(a). All the existing restrictions in the district for preventing the spread of COVID-19 as issued in the earlier orders those on social/ religious/ political/ Sports/ cultural/ entertainment gathering etc. shall continue.

(b). The offline/physical classes for students of class-I to VIII is allowed from 15th Feb. 2022 subject to parental consent of the students concerned, and further subject to the fulfillment of the condition and Standard Operation Procedure (SOPs) to be issued by the Home Department.

(c). The board examination for class-X and class- XII conducted physically/ offline by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) shall be allowed as per the examination schedule by it in the month of March 2022 subject to the fulfillment of the conditions, and SOPs to be issued by the Home Department. Suitable arrangements should also be made for the students who are unable to appear for the examination on account of being tested positive for covid-19 positive or who are symptomatic.

Any person or group of persons acting in violation of the above directions as well as all the other existing orders /SOPs /guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 shall be liable to be prosecuted against under the relevant sections of Disaster Management Act 2005, besides action under section 188 of IPC and other legal provisions as applicable.
