In order to contain and control the spread of Novel Corona virus (COVID-19) in the district the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng M.Shayung Phom has prohibited celebration of Monyu festival in the entire district of Longleng during the lockdown period. It informs that defaulters will be deal with as per the existing provision of the Nagaland Epidemic Disease (COVID-19) Regulation 2020 under the Epidemic Disease Act 1897.
