Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Singh, IAS has informed the general public not to travel at NH-2 Mokokchung/Wokha from 10th July 2022 to 16th July 2022 between 7 p.m to 7 a.m. The prohibition is because of public safety and to allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work.

           During the restricted period, medium and light vehicles plying towards Kohima have been advised to take the diversion road from Alichen-Mangmetong-Sungro-Doyang-Wokha, and those traveling from Kohima to take the diversion road from ‘O’ point-Wokha-Doyang-Sungro-Mangmetong-Alichen.
