District Administration Mon in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources & Sports Mon, on 2nd May 2022 organised a marathon for school children as part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The marathon witnessed participation from 14 Government and Private Schools with 140 participants.

DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS flagged off the marathon. Honpa Konyak from Holy Cross School bagged the first spot in the boys’ category while Among Konyak from G.M.S. Mon emerged victorious in the girls’ category.
