Additional Development Commissioner, Nosazol Charles, in an office memorandum, has stated that due to Covid-19 pandemic, there was a delay in the implementation of the Calendar of Activities during 2020-21. Nevertheless, in order to avoid rush with proposals at the fag end of the financial year and taking into consideration of the State Budget Session early, the State Government has decided to have a deadline for submission of proposals to Planning Department for examination and clearance.

            Therefore, all the concerned Departments have been requested to submit their proposal to Planning Department latest by 25th February 2021 failing which the matter will be taken up with the highest authority for re-appropriation of funds which are yet to be utilized. However, proposals for CSS, NEC, NLCPR, NESIDS and Negotiated Loan etc will be exempted.
