DEDICATION OF NBOCWWB REGIONAL HEADQUARTER IN MOKOKCHUNG

 Dedication and Establishment of Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) Regional Headquarters was held today 27th May 2022 at ALC Office (Labour Office) Penli Ward, Mokokchung.

           The Government of Nagaland has constituted NBOCWWB to provide social security to Building and Other Construction Workers, as this section of workers are one of the most unprotected, short-term, temporary, and also at constant risk to their life and limb at the workplace.

           NBOCWWB runs five welfare schemes for those active beneficiary members such as Tool Grant, Insurance Coverage, Medical Assistance, Education Scholarship, and Maternity Benefits.

           NBOCWWB Regional Headquarters, Mokokchung will also cover Longleng, Tuensang, Noklak, Zunheboto, and Shamator districts.

           In the programme, Chairman NBOCWWB, Dr. Kekhrie Yhome delivered a short speech; Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, gave the Administrative Remarks; General Secretary, Ao Senden, Imtipokyim delivered the welcome speech; Rev. Wati, Pastor, United Christian Fellowship, Mokokchung said the Dedicatory Prayer while the programme was chaired by Chief Executive Officer, NBOCWWB, T. Chubayanger.
