DEF LONGLENG ORGANIZED A THREE-DAY ORIENTATION/ TRAINING OF MAHILA POLICE VOLUNTEERS

DEF Longleng organised a three-day Orientation/Training of Mahila Police Volunteers from 2nd to 4th March 2022 at the auditorium hall Bautung Government Higher Secondary School Longleng. Altogether 43 Mahila Police Volunteers were inducted today by H. Kuhovi Sema Sr. Superintendent of Police Longleng in the presence of officials from Phomla Hoichem, Administration Sakhi One-Stop Center, Advocate, and other guests from Longleng.

The programme was chaired by Impugn Chang SDPO Longleng, a short speech was delivered by Mano Phom, Phomla Hoichem President; Konshem, Phomla Hoichem representative and C. Henchmen Phom, Center Administrator OSC, Longleng. Inaugural speech and induction of MVPs were delivered by H. Kuhovi Sema, Sr. SP Longleng. The scheme of MVPs is sponsored by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, GoI with the active support of MHA and State Police. The tenure of the scheme is initially for 2 (two) years.
