DEPUTY COMMISSIONER PEREN INFORMS

To combat the alleged illegal collection of money from the vehicles at check gates and other locations in the District and in compliance with the notification of the Home Department, Political Branch dated Kohima the 19th May 2022, DC Peren has informed that all check gates within the District including police check gates have been suspended with immediate effect from 19th May 2022. In this regard, he requested all to initiate necessary actions and ensure strict compliance with the notifications.

Furthermore, DC has convened a meeting of all concerned on 24th May 2022 at 12 PM at DC's Conference Hall to deliberate on the aforementioned subject.
