District Committee for Lighthouse Schools (DCLS) meeting was held on 7th June 2022 at DC’s Conference Hall Noklak under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Noklak, Hiazu Meru.

DC Noklak Hiazu Meru highlighted the concept of Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR) where he mentioned that the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland has launched a project called Nagaland Education Project, the Lighthouse- Nagaland Enhancing Teaching and resources (NECTAR) to improve and enhance quality and learning outcome of government schools of Nagaland.

During the meeting, the house deliberately discussed the selection and verification process for Lighthouse by District Committee for Lighthouse School Complex and to this DC Noklak, Hiazu Meru requested all the stakeholders and line departments to submit the report on time. In this regard, another meeting has been scheduled to be held on the 9th of June 2022 for finalization.
