Advisor, CAWD and NSDMA, Kazheto Kinimi formally inaugurated Yachem EAC office building on 25th April 2022 in the presence of S. Pangnyu Phom, Minister Health & Family Welfare, Y. Yangseo Sangtam, Deputy Speaker, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor, Information & Public Relations & Village Guards, MLA C. L. John, DC and SP, Longleng.
In his inaugural speech, Advisor Kazheto Kinimi said that the new office building would bring the people closer to the Government for better governance and the government to the people. He asserted that government office buildings are people's property and therefore, it is the equal responsibility of both the public and the government to protect and care for it. He expressed optimism that the people will make better use of it and strengthen the hands of the government for better governance. Kazheto further pointed out that the office building would not only benefit Longleng district alone but also the entire State of Nagaland by strengthening the administrative infrastructure development.
Minister Pangnyu Phom informed that the furniture for EAC Office Yachem was contributed by the five villages of Yachem Circle and urged other administrative headquarters to follow suit. Clarifying that post creation was not done in any of the newly established EAC post in the State since 2005 and majority of them do not have new office building, he asserted that Yachem is fortunate to have a new office building and extended gratitude to the Department official led by Advisor, CAWD and NSDMA, Kazheto Kinimi for successful completing the construction of the new office building.
Advisor S. Keoshu Yimkhiung Guard emphasized on clean election to elect experience and qualified leaders for growth and progress of our state in various sectors. He asserted that will of the people is supreme for growth and development of any nation but not by selling their rights during election and blame the politicians for lack of development. He urged the people to choose a capable leader who would address welfare needs and deliver social justice.
Deputy Speaker T. Yangseo Sangtam asserted that development of district and constituency reflects the representative of strong visionary leaders and called upon the people to acknowledge the good works done by the elected representative for development of all.
DC, M. Shayung Phom extended gratitude to the government for allocation of fund for the office building after 10 years of its establishment. In order to ensure all-round development of the administrative headquarter, the DC also suggested for posting of independent administrative officer and creation of post at Yachem. Informing total allotment of land for the administrative headquarter, Shayung appealed to the people not to encroach Government land but to have ownership of government's properties.
MLA C. L. John, Shami Angh President PPC and Contractor H. Meren also delivered short speeches. Special number by Yachem Students' Union and Yakanangba & Imlionen were the highlights of the programme. Invocation and welcome address were proposed by Rev. T. I. Lakpa, Pastor Noksosang village and Longnyu, Dobashi Yachem Circle respectively. Technical report was delivered by Er. Sungtiba Amer, EE, CAWD. Dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev. M. Adao, Pastor Yachem Baptist Church. The inaugural programme was chaired by Pichano Kikon, EAC Yachem.
