A mock drill on earthquake preparedness was conducted on 12th April 2022 at Christian Baptist School Tseminyu old Town, organized by NSDMA in collaboration with NDRF, SDRF, District Administration, police, and different departments of the District. Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi IAS presided over the mock drill. The attendees were trained on evacuation drills, search and rescue, and emergency response & coordination during natural calamities. Additionally, the police personnel were trained in First Aid for emergency response. Earlier, Thejangulie Zao, Nodal Officer NSDMA Kohima gave a presentation on IRS structure at DB Court Tseminyu & Table Top Exercise by DDMA Tseminyu.
