In view of the forthcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, a training programme for Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) Teams such as Accounting team, Video Viewing team, Video Surveillance team and various party agents was held at the Conference Hall of Old DC's Office, Peren town on 10th February 2023. The training programme was presided by SDO(C) Peren, Meyazungba Jamir.

During the course of the training, the roles of various teams and the party agents were highlighted by Assistant Expenditure Observers (AEO), Matsungshiba, Sr. TO Peren (7 Peren AC) and Joydeep Das, Manager, SBI Peren (6 Tening AC). 

Expenditure Observer for Peren district, Dayanandan T (IRS) in his address said that, to ensure free and fair election, proper record of the expenditure is of paramount importance and requested all the agents to maintain the expenditure record properly. Further, he also appealed all the agents to approach the AEOs in case of any doubts related to expenditure.

Later, after the training, discussion hour was also held where doubts and queries were clarified by the party agents.
