A Meeting was conducted by the Electoral Roll Observer and Commissioner & Secretary, Land Resources Department, Vikeyie Kenya, IAS with political parties and Booth Level Officers on 24th November 2021 at DC’s conference hall, Noklak.

Vikeyie Kenya stated that the reason for his visit to the district is to know the problems and grievances of electoral process of both 56th AC Noklak & 57th AC Thonoknyu. He urged them to do their best while performing their assigned duties as per the electoral guidelines.  

Kenya requested the BLO to have proper check on double and fictitious entry in the electoral process. He also advised the BLOs to work sincerely as the electoral process is time bound. He hoped that there would not be any lapse in the district while entering the electoral roll. He mentioned that the political parties have an important role in the electoral process and requested all the political parties to give full co-operation to District Administration and Election Office to have a clean, accurate and successful implementation of electoral process in the district.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Noklak, Hiazu Meru in his introductory remark said that electoral process is very important in the country and thanked the observer for coming in aid of the process in Noklak District.

Vote of thanks was delivered by SDO (Civil) & ERO Noklak, C. Phuniang while the programme was chaired by EAC & AERO Noklak, Kathyinla.

During the interactive session, BLOs and Political Parties shared their problems and queries with the Electoral Roll Observer.

Meanwhile, felicitation of winners of online Inter School Slogan Competition was also handed over by the Observer. Honglin K, Class 10 student of St. Paul's School, Noklak got first position, Leing L, Class 12 student of GHSS, Noklak bagged the second position while Tsujang P, Class 10 student of Holy Angels School, Noklak got third position.
