The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services conducted a Farmers’ Field School at Penshe sector, Noklak town on 16th November 2021.The resource persons were CVO Tuensang, Dr. Tekasangba and Diko Nusory, V.S Tuensang.

During the Farmers Field School, the trainees were taught on Piggery, Goatery and Poultry farming. They taught on immunization/ vaccination, caring, feeding, treatment, record keeping, production, profit etc.

Meanwhile, awareness campaign under livestock health and disease control with special emphasis on control of foot and mouth diseases and Brucellosis under the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Nagaland under the aegis of Government of India, Ministry of Fishery, Animals Husbandry and Diary, implemented by the Nagaland Livestock Development Board was also held on 16th November 2021.
