MLA and chairman DPDB Kiphire, Yangseo Sangtam, formally inaugurated the feed making unit implemented by KVK Kiphire Nagaland under CM Corpus fund of Aspirational District program and also launched the pig feed by the brand "Yingbithongru Livestock Feed" at Kiphire on 12th November 2021. The unit has a capacity of 500 kgs per hour.

        The MLA along with Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, T. Wati Aier  visited the IFS developed by KVK Kiphire and pig breeding unit established under the CM Corpus fund of Aspirational District program. Under the project, the piglet will be made available to the farmers at a subsidised rate of Rs. 4000 per piglet for a period of five years, informed Dr. Khumdemo.

        Sangtam appreciated the KVK department for initiating the project for the District and opined that the project will benefit the beneficiaries to a large extend and also urged the department to encourage the youth to participate in the project.
